I’m pretty much fed up with the New York music scene nowadays. Be the Hardcore, the Metal or Alternative. Everyone is just so busy playing with the same bands and fuckin’ trying so hard to not rub other bands the wrong way. What’s so fucking wrong with not liking a band? If a band is shit, no one is willing to fucking tell them and that really pisses me off. And when I was in bands people would get mad at me if I criticized their band in any shape or form. How the fuck do you expect to grow as musicians or even people if you can’t take people’s constructive criticism or just their plain hate? Also A big Issue is that there’s no hate, no rivalry between bands anymore just the Bullshit of supporting each other, even if you hate their guts. Rivalry in the music scene is what makes bands stand out, be innovative and fucking wild. I just see this whole thing as stupid.
